Job Description Customer Service & Music Retail Specialist A&G Central Music Southeast Michigan (Troy & Macomb locations) A&G Central Music is growing, and we’re looking for a customer-focused professional who wants to build a career in the music industry while making a real impact in our musical community. This role is much more than traditional retail. About 70% of the position is focused on customer care through supporting our instrument rental families, educators, and musicians via phone, email, and in-store service. The remaining portion involves retail sales and helping customers find the right instruments, accessories, and solutions for their musical journey. What You’ll Do • Deliver exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and via email, • Support school music rental customers with account assistance and guidance, • Help musicians, students, and families select instruments and accessories, • Collaborate with team members to solve problems and create positive experiences We’re looking for someone who: • Leads with care, patience, and a genuine service mindset, • Is detail-oriented and comfortable juggling multiple priorities, • Is confident both asking for help and stepping in to help others, • Values community, collaboration, and positive workplace culture, • Has some retail or customer service experience, • Has a background in instrumental music (preferred), • Strong, supportive workplace culture rooted in music education, • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference for students and musicians, • Benefits package available Apply today and help us serve the musicians and students who inspire everything we do.
