Job Overview We're hiring a Social Media Specialist to execute MediVera's organic social strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. This role is hands-on: writing posts, producing short-form video, scheduling content, managing community engagement, and reporting on what's working. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and executes against MediVera's broader content and marketing strategy. It's a craft role for someone who knows how to make platform-native content that performs. Job Responsibilities: • Daily social posting cadence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X, including writing, scheduling, and platform-native formatting, • Graphic design, applying MediVera's brand guidelines to create platform-ready visuals, templates, and supporting assets, • Short-form video production for social, including filming, editing, captioning, and publishing, • Community management, including responding to comments, DMs, and tagged mentions within agreed response windows, • Google Business Profile management, including review responses, profile updates, and posts, plus monitoring other business directory profiles, • Content repurposing from blog posts, emails, and campaigns into platform-ready social posts, • Partner with the event marketer on event announcements, coverage, and photography, • Engagement tracking and monthly performance reporting on reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and click-throughs, • Social listening for MediVera mentions, competitor activity, and relevant industry conversations, • Maintaining brand voice consistency across every post, every platform, every day Attributes & Skills • 2-3 years of social media experience, ideally in B2B, healthcare, life sciences, or another regulated industry, • A portfolio of social content you've produced, including short-form video samples, • Hands-on video production and editing skills, including filming on phone or DSLR, editing in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools, and producing captions and graphics, • Fluency in platform-native conventions for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X, • Working knowledge of at least one social scheduling tool (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, or similar), • Strong writing skills with the ability to translate longer-form content into punchy, platform-appropriate posts, • Comfort working within compliance guardrails and flagging sensitive language for review before publishing, • Self-direction and the ability to manage a daily publishing cadence without close oversight, • Comfort working alongside AI tools (such as Claude) for content creation, copywriting, video and graphic production support, and performance reporting is expected. Bonus Points • Experience producing social content for healthcare providers, telehealth platforms, or pharmacy audiences, • Photography skills, especially for on-site conference and facility content, • Experience with LinkedIn personal branding for executives or subject matter experts, • Background in influencer or creator coordination MediVera is different.
