Job DescriptionDescription: Big 3 Precision Products is looking to fill open Prototype and Fixture Builder positions, with experienced steel rack fabricators for the Automotive Industry. Candidates need to be self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-paced production environment. Skills: • Must be proficient in print reading and able to determine possible material, dimensional stack up issues., • Must be proficient with tape measure reading from 1/16” and up., • All potential candidates must be willing to operate multiple types of equipment, including but not limited to, drill presses, horizontal band saw, press brakes, shear, and ironworkers.Requirements: Abilities: • Speak, read, and write in the English language., • Stand, walk for 8-10 hours a day., • Lift, carry, push, pull items up to 45lbs and up to 60lbs occasionally., • Basic Math, count, add, and subtract.

Job Description MIG & TIG Welder Sterling Heights, MI 7:00am – 3:30pm, M-F 40-45 Hours Per Week (OT based on workload) Responsibilities: • Perform both MIG and TIG welding., • Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to weld in all positions including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding., • Inspects, maintains and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating., • Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect material to meet fabrication drawing requirements., • Tack welding, fabrication of shop aids and fixtures to assist fabrication and welding, • 5 or more years of TIG and MIG welding experience in non-production setting., • Proficient with a variety of materials including steel, stainless, invar, and aluminum., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints., • Ability to use precision measurement instruments, • Welding Certifications would be a plus.
