Job DescriptionJob Title: Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production floor by ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials and goods. This position requires a proactive individual who is available throughout their shift to contribute to the seamless operation of our facility. Responsibilities • Support the production floor with line-side delivery and pick-up., • Maintain and control the movement of stock from warehouse locations to the production floor and finished goods to proper locations., • Organize customer containers for transport to and from the production line., • Perform tasks related to dumping scrap, maintaining truck wells, organizing pallets, maintaining cardboard waste, and other housekeeping duties.Essential Skills, • 2 years of warehouse experience., • 2 years of stand-up hilo experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with stand-up electric forklifts., • Possession of a chauffeur's license.Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted at the 1201 Building, utilizing equipment such as automated tube benders, welder machines, and material handling robots. The manufacturing of metal exhaust systems involves tube bending, assembly, and shipping. The environment is fast-paced but clean, with some areas experiencing consistent loud noises from machinery. Employees must comply with PPE and safety requirements, including wearing steel-toe shoes at all times. Safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
