Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support, but your responsibility extends beyond that. You will be the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. This is not a hand-off model. You will sit in the same customer meetings, absorb the same context, and build a shared understanding of each customer's complete financial picture, then work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical. Taxes can be stressful, and your presence as a trusted, knowledgeable guide makes all the difference whether you're helping with a straightforward W-2 filing, navigating a major life event like marriage, a new child, or elder care, or tackling more complex scenarios involving business income, investments, or amendments. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community. This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. What You’ll Do: Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness. Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. Your role is not simply to deliver a service, but to ensure every client leaves with a clearer path and the full weight of Intuit's resources behind them for year-round support. Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns and build the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship. Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). - Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state-of-the-art video communication tools. About Piñata \n Piñata is on a mission to make renting rewarding. We turn rent — the largest recurring payment in most people's lives — into credit building, rewards, and access to financial services that renters have historically been shut out of. We're embedded across the property-management ecosystem, integrated with the platforms that power millions of units, and today we reach more than two million renters. Our marketplace connects those renters with the brands they need at the moments they spend most: lease signing, move-in, and renewal. We already work with 64+ brands, and we're hiring the leader who will bring in the next wave. \n \n The Role \n We're hiring an Independent Brand Partnerships Lead to source, pitch, and close new brand partners for the Piñata marketplace. This is a net-new revenue role built for a senior operator with a deep network: you bring the relationships, we bring the audience, the product, and the deal infrastructure. \n It is also a different kind of seat. The role is commission-only, aggressive commission with no cap and no set hours. You decide how and when you work, and you earn a meaningful share of the revenue you create. It suits someone who has already built a career in brand partnerships and wants ownership and flexibility over a salary and a schedule. \n \n What You'll Own \n\n • Pipeline — a qualified pipeline of consumer brands across the categories renters care about: retail and grocery, memberships, streaming, home and moving services, utilities setup, pet, education, and financial services.\n, • Closed partnerships — signed brand deals, from first conversation through executed order form.\n, • Brand revenue — the revenue those partners generate through CPA and referral programs, brand-funded offers, and sponsored placements.\n, • Relationships — the senior relationship at each brand you bring in, as the partnership launches and grows.\n\n \n What You'll Do \n\n • Open doors with the people who own loyalty, membership, and partnerships budgets at major consumer brands.\n, • Pitch Piñata as an acquisition and loyalty channel, using partner-specific landing pages we build for your meetings.\n, • Structure deals on our standard order form and published Brand Partner Terms, so they close without a long legal cycle.\n, • Hand signed partners to our team for launch, and stay close to the account as it expands.\n, • Work directly with the CEO on priority accounts and bring her into the meetings that matter.\n\n \n Who You Are \n\n • 8+ years in brand partnerships, business development, loyalty, affiliate, or retail media, with a network you can actually call.\n, • A track record of closing partnerships with consumer brands. You've owned the number, not just the introduction.\n, • A self-directed operator who runs your own pipeline without a manager checking it.\n, • Commercially sharp: you can structure a deal that works for the brand, for Piñata, and for the renter.\n, • Motivated by upside and autonomy, and comfortable with pay tied entirely to results.\n\n \n Bonus Points \n\n • Existing relationships in membership, grocery, streaming, home services, or consumer fintech.\n, • Experience with loyalty programs, card-linked offers, affiliate networks, or rewards marketplaces.\n, • Familiarity with proptech or the renter audience.\n\n \n Compensation & Structure \n\n • Aggressive commission.\n, • No cap on earnings.\n, • Independent contractor (1099).\n
