Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support, but your responsibility extends beyond that. You will be the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. This is not a hand-off model. You will sit in the same customer meetings, absorb the same context, and build a shared understanding of each customer's complete financial picture, then work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical. Taxes can be stressful, and your presence as a trusted, knowledgeable guide makes all the difference whether you're helping with a straightforward W-2 filing, navigating a major life event like marriage, a new child, or elder care, or tackling more complex scenarios involving business income, investments, or amendments. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community. This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. What You’ll Do: Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness. Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. Your role is not simply to deliver a service, but to ensure every client leaves with a clearer path and the full weight of Intuit's resources behind them for year-round support. Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns and build the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship. Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). - Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state-of-the-art video communication tools. Job Description Accountant / Senior Accountant — Aubergine Kitchen Location: Provo/Orem, UT (in-office) | Reports to: CEO Company: Aubergine & Company, Corp., dba Aubergine Kitchen About Aubergine Kitchen Aubergine Kitchen is a health-forward, premium fast-casual restaurant brand with 14 locations across Utah, Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada. We're a fast-growing, family-led company scaling deliberately: opening new units, refining unit economics, and building the financial infrastructure a multi-state operator needs to grow with control and clarity. This is a hands-on seat on a lean team where the right person can have an outsized impact on how we run the numbers. Why This Role Exists We are looking for an accountant who doesn't just keep the books current, but who brings energy, ownership, and real financial acumen to the table — someone who can tighten our controls, sharpen our reporting, and act as a true thought partner to leadership as we scale. What You'll Own • Close & Reporting: Own the monthly close process end-to-end — journal entries, reconciliations, accruals — and deliver accurate financials on a fast, predictable timeline., • Financial Controls: Design and enforce accounting controls across a multi-location, multi-entity structure, reducing risk and tightening the gap between what happens in stores and what shows up in the books., • Multi-Unit & Multi-State Complexity: Manage accounting across locations in four states (and soon to be more), including state-specific tax, licensing, and compliance nuances., • Cash & AP/AR Oversight: Partner with and manage our bookkeeping staff to ensure cash application, vendor payments, and collections are timely and accurate — this role sets the standard the bookkeeping team works to., • Reporting & Analysis: Build and maintain the reporting leadership actually uses — P&L, COGS and labor trends, balance sheet integrity, cashflow statements — and flag issues before they become problems, not after., • Process Improvement: Identify where our current financial processes are manual, fragile, or reactive, and fix them. We want someone who improves the system, not just operates it., • Business Partnership: Work directly with the COO and CEO on financial questions tied to expansion, vendor negotiations, and investment decisions — this is not a back-office-only role., • Audit & Compliance Readiness: Keep our books audit-ready and support any external reviews, tax prep, or lender/investor diligence requests. What We're Looking For • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-unit restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience is a strong plus., • Deep working knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls., • Proven ability to manage accounting across multiple locations/entities and (ideally) multiple states., • Strong Excel skills — comfortable building and improving financial trackers and models, not just filling in templates., • Experience with restaurant/POS and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks or similar; POS-to-GL reconciliation experience is a plus)., • A high-energy, high-ownership operator mentality — someone who takes initiative, catches problems early, and drives things to resolution without being chased., • Sharp communicator who can translate numbers into clear takeaways for non-finance leadership., • CPA or CPA-track a plus, not required. What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months • Month-end close is consistently on time and clean, with no backlog., • Financial controls are documented and functioning across all locations and the airport JV., • Leadership has reliable, timely reporting to make decisions on comp, vendors, and expansion., • The bookkeeping team is well-managed and operating to a higher standard. Why Join Us You'll join a growing, founder/family-led brand at a stage where your work has direct, visible impact — not lost in a large finance org. If you want ownership over how a scaling multi-unit business gets its financial house in order, this is that seat.

Overview Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax's client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community. This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. What You'll Do: Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a "community ambassador" and "business owner" mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. - Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit's state-of-the-art video communication tools.
