Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support, but your responsibility extends beyond that. You will be the connective tissue between your customers and a broader team of specialists covering business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services. This is not a hand-off model. You will sit in the same customer meetings, absorb the same context, and build a shared understanding of each customer's complete financial picture, then work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and connect with them on a personal level is critical. Taxes can be stressful, and your presence as a trusted, knowledgeable guide makes all the difference whether you're helping with a straightforward W-2 filing, navigating a major life event like marriage, a new child, or elder care, or tackling more complex scenarios involving business income, investments, or amendments. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community. This role is nonexempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. What You’ll Do: Provide Tax Expertise - Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a “community ambassador” and “business owner” mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax. As a primary driver of local growth, you will own your market — identifying and pursuing prospects through targeted outreach, grass-roots marketing initiatives, referral networks, and community partnerships. Serve as the local face of TurboTax, converting new prospects into loyal, long-term clients. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, community pop-ups, and networking gatherings with the support of TurboTax marketing tools and resources, to create consistent opportunities for customer engagement and brand awareness. Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Act as a trusted guide for every client by developing a deep understanding of their complete financial picture and connecting them with the Intuit solutions best positioned to move them forward. As you build relationships through tax engagements and collaborative client meetings, identify opportunities to introduce clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma that meaningfully address their needs. Your role is not simply to deliver a service, but to ensure every client leaves with a clearer path and the full weight of Intuit's resources behind them for year-round support. Build Relationships - Connect with people, demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to their financial concerns and build the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship. Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Create an exceptional customer experience, professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). - Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state-of-the-art video communication tools. Financial Controller Clearwater, Florida | Office-based | $125,000–$150,000 + performance upside I’m partnering with a fast-growing, founder-led ecommerce investment and operating group approaching $100m in revenue. The business is expected to double over the next year, with a long-term ambition to build this division into a $1bn operation. This is not a conventional Controller role where you inherit a large team and oversee things from a distance. You’ll be the CFO’s right hand and take hands-on ownership of finance across six funds, one separately managed account, a parent entity and 20 consumer brands. The environment is fast, entrepreneurial and highly commercial, so you must be comfortable moving between detailed accounting work and broader business decisions. What you’ll own • Month-end close and accurate, timely reporting across the group, • Fund-level P&Ls and consolidated financial reporting, • Cash forecasting, cash management and purchase approvals, • Investor reporting and ad hoc investor requests, • Inventory accounting and weighted-average costing, • Audit readiness, controls and US GAAP compliance, • Financial analysis and due diligence for future acquisitions, • Improving systems and processes as the business scales, • Developing the existing Accounting Manager and helping build the wider finance team The right person will be technically excellent but also quick, resourceful and highly independent. You’ll regularly be given an incomplete brief, so you need to be someone who can work through the detail, find the answer and come back with a clear recommendation. You should bring: • A CPA qualification and strong command of US GAAP, • A foundation in Big Four or another strong public accounting firm, • Experience owning complex reporting, close or audit work across multiple entities, • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large or imperfect datasets, • The ability to communicate credibly with founders, investors and external partners, • A hands-on mindset and genuine appetite to build rather than simply maintain, • Experience within funds, investment management, private equity, ecommerce or an acquisitive business would be valuable, but is not essential This could suit an Audit Manager ready to make a high-impact move into industry, or an ambitious Accounting Manager, Finance Manager or Assistant Controller looking for a much broader seat. Ecommerce experience is not required. Intelligence, pace, ownership and the ability to solve difficult problems matter far more. The role is office-based in Clearwater, so you must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate. If you’re a high-calibre CPA who wants genuine access to the founders, exposure to acquisitions and the opportunity to help build the finance function behind a rapidly scaling business, I’d love to hear from you. Apply directly or message me confidentially for more information.

Overview Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax's client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Embody a "community ambassador" and "business owner" mindset to actively build and grow a new local customer base for TurboTax.
