Stay informed about new optical products, medical advancements in ophthalmology, and industry trends to enhance customer service. Requirements Prior experience in optical sales or clinic environments preferred; familiarity with ophthalmology is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to the eye, physiology, vital signs, and HIPAA compliance. Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; proficiency in medical billing and coding is a plus. Strong retail management skills including retail math for transactions and inventory control. Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to patients of all ages including pediatrics and senior care populations.
