Position Overview NICHQ is currently recruiting a detail-oriented Research Assistant with at least 1-2 years of research project experience to collaborate with multiple team members to support the activities and deliverables of clinical research and applied research and evaluation projects. Summary • Salary: $55,000 annual, paid hourly, • Career Level: Entry Level, • Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt, US Based Remote, • Education: Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field required, • Reports to: Senior Member of Department of Applied Research and Evaluation Responsibilities • Works closely with the project lead, a senior member of the Applied Research and Evaluation Department., • Coordinates research-related activities, including contacting study participants for consenting, facilitating questionnaire completion, and scheduling for study visits., • Records meeting notes, documents key decisions, and supports follow-up., • Supports development, management and dissemination of key documents, including protocols, reports and presentations., • With oversight from senior team members, supports implementation of research activities, including literature reviews, creation and dissemination of surveys, data cleaning, data quality and analysis., • Assists in the development and management of project plans (e.g., schedule, deliverables, project status reports) and tracks deliverables, • Creates and updates workflows as needed, • Utilizes and maintains online data collection platforms, including REDCap., • Other duties, as assigned. Job Description Overview The Patient Access Representative functions as a resource to staff and the general public regarding the new patient intake process and all assigned areas of responsibility. The assistant performs all functions related to processing new requests for treatment including self-referrals, healthcare professional referrals and Shriner referrals. This position is also responsible for scheduling and pre-registration of the initial ambulatory clinic appointment and performs several functions related to inpatient hospital admission. The pay range for this position is $20.16/hr - 30.24/hr. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
