Job Description Job Title: Customer account specialist Location: Carteret, NJ Pay: $24 - $28 an hour A highly reputable manufacturing company is looking for a Customer Account Specialist to join their team! This role includes a large range of duties including but not limited to being the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems, processing customer orders accurately and promptly, coordinating with various teams to support order fulfillment and delivery, and communicating order status and updates to customers address and resolve customer concerns, discrepancies, or service issues professionally and maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Additionally, you will support customer-specific requirements and assist with customer returns, claims, and corrective actions, and much more! Responsibilities • Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries through phone, email, and internal systems., • Process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner., • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Shipping, and Quality teams to support order fulfillment and delivery., • Communicate order status, lead times, and shipment updates to customers., • Address and resolve customer concerns, discrepancies, or service issues in a professional and timely manner., • Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and correspondence., • Support customer-specific requirements including labeling, documentation, and delivery instructions., • Assist with customer returns, claims, and corrective action follow-up when required., • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements., • Support the organization in achieving established service and performance goals., • Contribute to departmental metrics related to customer satisfaction, responsiveness, on-time performance, and service quality.
