Salary: $60,000-70,000 annually Schedule/Location: • Full Time; Monday-Friday Job Summary: The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Strategist is a creative, community-minded fundraising leader who grows and manages Walk for Animals fundraising and other supporter-led fundraising efforts. This role designs and leads initiatives that empower individuals and teams to raise funds for animals—whether through the Walk for Animals, social media challenges, personal milestones, tribute campaigns, or other community events. Essential Functions Strategy and Planning • Develop and implement a comprehensive peer-to-peer fundraising strategy focused on growth, engagement, and impact., • Manage all peer-to-peer fundraising strategies for AHS’s annual Walk for Animals event., • Identify opportunities to leverage existing events, holidays (e.g., National Pet Day), and supporter milestones (e.g., birthdays, pet adoptions) for fundraising., • Launch and manage digital campaigns and supporter toolkits for events like birthday fundraisers, memorial pages, walk/run fundraisers, and DIY initiatives., • Oversee the setup and optimization of P2P fundraising platforms (e.g. Classy, JustGiving, Facebook Fundraisers)., • Cultivate relationships with supporters who are passionate about animals and want to make a difference through fundraising., • Provide guidance, motivation, and recognition to fundraisers throughout their campaigns., • Collaborate with marketing to amplify campaigns via email, social media, and storytelling., • Collaborate with corporate relations to identify, secure, and fulfill Walk sponsorships and partnerships., • Coordinate with the animal care and adoption teams to showcase impact stories that resonate with fundraisers and donors., • Track campaign results and fundraising performance using CRM systems and digital dashboards., • Produce regular reports to inform strategy and share successes with internal stakeholders., • Continuously test and improve campaign approaches based on insights and supporter feedback., • Communicate in a positive and professional manner with customers, other employees, and volunteers. Additional Information: Schedule and Attendance: • Regular, predictable attendance, punctuality, and availability to work during operational hours., • Attend and participate in regular team meetings, all staff meetings, and one-on-one meetings with direct leader., • May be required to work at a different site based on department needs., • Primarily office/desk based. Experience: • 3+ years of experience in peer-to-peer or digital fundraising., • Experience with online fundraising platforms (e.g. Classy/GoFundMePro, Facebook Fundraisers)., • Ability to work in a professional and positive manner., • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal, especially in donor-facing interactions., • Must have ability to work as a member of the team and partner collaboratively with external and internal customers and departments., • Strong project management, attention to detail, and organizational skills., • Prolonged sitting at a desk., • Reliable transportation required.
