Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): • Triage patients upon arrival., • Communicate with the provider when the patient is ready, summarizing symptoms and any abnormal vitals., • Document visits in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system (eMDs)., • Assist the provider with procedures and patient care, including splinting, radiology, vaccines, medication administration, phlebotomy, and more., • Administer and document medications as directed by the provider., • Prepare, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms., • Obtain lab samples and follow up with patients once results are available., • Provide patient education at the end of the visit and address any follow-up questions., • Position patients for radiology procedures (training provided)., • Handle front office tasks, including insurance verification, patient registration, answering phones, and processing payments.
