Job Description Role and Responsibilities Operational Leadership: • Direct and manage field and shop operations across multiple service lines, including refractory, corrosion, rubber lining, and scaffolding., • Collaborate with project managers to plan and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment., • Supervise and support frontline supervisors, foremen, and field personnel., • Enforce strict compliance with company safety programs, client requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, MSHA)., • Ensure all operational activities meet or exceed quality standards., • Oversee material procurement, warehouse coordination, and equipment maintenance to support ongoing operations., • Monitor budgets, track labor and material usage, and implement cost-saving measures., • Support client relationships through operational excellence, responsiveness, and problem-solving., • Maintain accurate operational records, including daily reports, productivity logs, safety documentation, and equipment usage., • Provide regular updates to senior leadership., • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred., • Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred., • 7+ years of operational experience in industrial services or heavy industry, with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role, • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, • In-depth understanding of industrial service operations, particularly in refractory, coatings, rubber lining, and scaffolding, • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, • Working knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations relevant to industrial job sites, • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer., • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time., • Ability to travel to job sites, including industrial facilities, remote locations, and active construction zones, often requiring walking on uneven surfaces or climbing ladders and scaffolding., • Must be able to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during field visits, inspections, or supervision., • Capable of occasionally lifting and carrying materials or equipment up to 50 pounds., • Comfortable working in hot, humid, cold, noisy, or dusty environments, both indoors and outdoors., • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirators, and fire-resistant clothing., • Must be physically able to access confined spaces, elevated platforms, and scaffolding, when required for inspection or oversight purposes.
