Job Description Pain Management Physician Locations: Rancho Mirage, San Jacinto or Victorville, CA Job Type: Full-time Schedule: • In-person: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm Our Story Our mission is to bring care that’s whole, human, and healing. We are looking for a compassionate Internist, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician, Addiction Physician, Family Medicine Physician, or Internal Medicine Physician with an interest in pain management with a bio-psycho-social approach to join our rapidly growing practice in Rancho Mirage, San Jacinto or Victorville, CA. Joining our collaborative team, you will be responsible for the medical management of patients as well as for referrals to the transdisciplinary care model which includes Mental Health, Physical Reconditioning and Complementary and Alternative Medicine therapies. This opportunity is perfect for a physician seeking to practice in a multi-disciplinary, holistic model of care. The schedule will be clinic-based, seeing patients and performing procedures. Procedural training (as permitted by the specialty Board) can occur on site. Job Duties: • Instructs and counsels patients regarding procedures performed; always promotes wellness and health maintenance., • Provides relief from acute or chronic pain through medications, provides nerve blocks, electrical stimulation, or other advanced interventional techniques., • Supervises up to four nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring that the team is identifying candidates for interventional procedures., • Cares for a medically complex and emotionally challenging patient population that requires empathy and the ability to de-escalate., • Performs other duties as assigned, consistent with the above responsibilities., • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine, • Graduate of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship program, • Valid board certification as a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, • Valid medical license in California., • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment (30+ patients per clinic day and 25+ procedures per procedure day), • 4 weeks’ vacation upon hire, plus holiday paid time off, • Health, Dental, Vision Insurance (PPO- 90% paid by employer/50% for dependents), • 401k, • Employee assistance program, • Employee discount, • Life insurance, • Disability insurance, • Flexible spending account
