Job Ad Copy ServiceMaster by Singer is seeking a Mitigation Estimator to inspect losses, develop clear mitigation Scopes, write accurate estimates, and support projects with strong documentation and professional communication. This role is for an operator who understands water mitigation, demolition logic, drying requirements, documentation, and estimate structure. The right candidate can evaluate a loss, determine what work is required, support the Scope with facts, and communicate clearly with project managers, customers, and insurance representatives. This is not a role for vague estimators or people who rely on habit instead of reasoning. We are looking for someone who can build defensible estimates and work within a disciplined restoration environment. What You Will Be Responsible For • inspect mitigation losses and determine Scope requirements, • write mitigation estimates based on actual site conditions and documentation, • identify affected materials, assemblies, and Scope actions, • support estimate line items with moisture data, photos, notes, and job facts, • coordinate with operations and project management teams, • communicate with adjusters regarding documented Scope needs, • maintain organized files and timely estimate updates, • help prevent under-scoping, over-scoping, and unsupported estimating Required Qualifications • professional restoration estimating or mitigation scoping experience, • strong understanding of water mitigation and structural drying, • ability to write organized, defensible estimates, • strong documentation habits, • professional written and verbal communication, • valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, • ability to pass background screening required for work in customer homes and buildings Skills That Matter • technical mitigation knowledge, • assembly-based scoping logic, • documentation discipline, • estimate accuracy, • professional adjuster communication, • accountability and follow-through Benefits • medical, dental, and vision insurance, • life insurance, • short-term disability coverage, • 3% Simple IRA match after one year, • training and certification opportunities About ServiceMaster by Singer ServiceMaster by Singer performs restoration work with discipline, professionalism, and respect for the people we serve.
