Job DescriptionRobotics Test Technician Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Contract: 12‑month contract with potential for conversion/extension Pay Rate: Up to $50/hour (W2) Job Overview We are an agency partner supporting a cutting‑edge engineering organization in San Jose, CA seeking a Robotics Test Technician. This role works closely with the engineering team to execute robotics testing, operate robotic systems, and collect and analyze test data. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and engineering foundation, enjoys hands‑on work, and is eager to grow in a robotics‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with engineering teams to execute robotics tests and validation activities, • Operate and work directly with robotic systems to support testing efforts, • Collect, document, and organize test data for engineering analysis, • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system‑level issues during testing, • Use test equipment to support calibration and system verification, • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines during all testing activities, • Support continuous improvement of testing processes and workflowsRequired Skills & Qualifications, • Engineering background (Mechanical Engineering preferred, but open to related disciplines), • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, • Experience working with test equipment, • Basic understanding of robotics systems and components, • Familiarity with calibration processes, • Exposure to electronics and mechanical systems, • Entry‑level candidates OKPreferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills, • Software scripting experience (any language or test automation exposure a plus), • Hands‑on robotics experience through internships, labs, or academic projects, • Experience wearing VR goggles or working with VR‑enabled systems, • Interest in robotics, automation, or advanced engineering technologiesAdditional Information, • Onsite role in San Jose, CA Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
