Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Seasonal Event Associate (2+ positions available) LOCATION: Viking Lakes 2685 Vikings Circle, Suite 050 Eagan, MN 55121 TYPE: Part-Time/Seasonal, Non-Exempt, $20/hour SUMMARY: Join the team behind some of the most exciting events at Viking Lakes! MV Ventures (“MVV”) is seeking motivated individual(s), working toward or interested in careers in the event industry, to serve in an Event Operations role in support of a variety of Viking Lakes events and programs. In this hands-on role, the Associate(s) will be responsible for site supervision and venue operations to help bring recreational practices, clinics, leagues, and other special events to life within TCO Stadium, Minnesota Vikings Museum and the greater Viking Lakes campus. We’re seeking proactive, independent problem solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of events, and communicate effectively with clients, guests, and partners. This is your chance to gain leadership experience, oversee operations, and make a real impact on every event. Position(s) run from April 1st, 2026 to February 28th, 2027. Exact start and finish dates will be mutually agreed upon and based off venue programming schedules. It is understood that if selected, this role will take priority over other jobs and commitments. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support the execution of athletic, recreational, corporate, and community events at Viking Lakes venues., • Serve as site supervisor for practices, clinics, leagues, and rentals across TCO Stadium, the Vikings Museum, and other campus facilities., • After training, act as the on-site lead for select events, overseeing logistics and client communication., • Gain hands-on leadership experience with opportunities to plan, coordinate, and execute events., • Manage and maintain event assets, equipment, and supplies., • Assist with event setup and teardown, streamlining processes for efficiency and safety., • Communicate effectively on-site with rental clients, vendors, contractors, and venue stakeholders to ensure high-quality execution., • Ensure event spaces are prepared according to specifications, operational standards, and safety guidelines., • Monitor and evaluate event success, providing post-event reports, recommendations, and insights for continuous improvement in addition to all required operational and financial reporting. The Seasonal Event Associate(s) will work primarily on-site at the Viking Lakes campus, a dynamic environment featuring sports, hospitality, residential, and commercial facilities. This role requires physical activity, including walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting, and may involve occasional travel to promote events or collaboration with partners. This position will include nights and weekends based on the event schedules. EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: • Experience in event management, facilities, athletics, hospitality, or a related industry preferred, but candidates with a strong willingness to learn and take initiative are encouraged to apply., • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, guests and vendors to meet their needs., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on reliability, active listening, and resolving concerns in a calm and positive manner., • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively under pressure while maintaining a customer-focused approach., • Take ownership of select events and projects, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and guest experience., • High attention to detail, demonstrating initiative, leadership potential, personal awareness, and integrity in all interactions, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and guests., • Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team to deliver exceptional service., • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, resolve inquiries, and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere for all guests, vendors, and clients. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs. Will be on your feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings., • Ability to work outside for long periods of time, in various temperatures and weather conditions., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
