To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.com Job Description This position is based in the Philippines and is intended for U.S. Nationals seeking overseas U.S. jobs or Americans in the Philippines interested in supporting U.S. government operations abroad. The role supports the stand-up and operation of a contracted Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility in Lal-Lo, Philippines, from April 18 through June 19, 2026, providing expeditionary medical support to U.S. military personnel and other authorized beneficiaries. This is a temporary contract position and is not based in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to work in an overseas operational environment for the duration of the assignment. The Radiology Technician provides diagnostic imaging services in support of routine, acute, trauma, and emergency medical care. The role independently operates portable imaging capability, including mobile radiology capability as provided on site, in remote, resource-limited, and high-consequence conditions. The role is responsible for producing diagnostic-quality images that support urgent clinical decision-making, maintaining accurate patient documentation, safeguarding confidential information, and complying with all applicable contract, Department of Defense, Army, installation, safety, quality, privacy, and access requirements and supports 24-hour operations B. Key Responsibilities • Operate radiology capability, including the mobile X-ray machine, to perform imaging as needed in support of routine, acute, trauma, and emergency medical care., • Independently operate portable imaging systems with a high degree of autonomy in remote, resource-limited, and high-consequence settings., • Produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by an authorized provider and review images to ensure they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes., • Adjust equipment controls, including exposure time and distance, according to the requirements of the examination., • Apply advanced troubleshooting to sustain imaging operations and support reliable image transmission in unreliable network conditions., • Use creative patient positioning techniques, including for complex trauma cases, to obtain diagnostic-quality images., • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation before shift change, whether documentation is completed in an electronic health record or paper health record., • Maintain patient records, forms, and documents in accordance with contract requirements and applicable privacy, confidentiality, and records management requirements., • Safeguard patient information and other confidential or sensitive information in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and contract requirements., • Comply with applicable safety, fire prevention, waste disposal, infection control, patient safety, identification badge, installation access, and security requirements., • Report to work as scheduled for 24-hour operations, rotating shifts, recall status, emergencies, disasters, adverse weather, and other contract-required duty coverage., • Work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical technicians, laboratory technicians, and other government and contract personnel to support patient care and continuity of operations., • Participate in quality management and process improvement activities and comply with inspection, surveillance, review, and quality assurance requirements., • Maintain current licensure, certification, registration, continuing education, and clinical competency requirements throughout contract performance., • Perform only those procedures and services authorized under approved protocols and do not introduce new procedures., • Comply with personal appearance and conduct requirements and immediately route media or public inquiries through the required chain of coordination. Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Must be a U.S. National, • Current, valid, unrestricted medical licensure in any United States state, the District of Columbia, or a United States territory, as applicable to the position, with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions., • Certification accredited by a mechanism recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or equivalent certification., • Minimum of two years of experience in the medical field., • Prior emergency medical services and/or emergency care management experience preferred., • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Associations (AHA) or equivalent is required., • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred., • Able to work in high-stress environments., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills, and social sensitivity to relate constructively to patients from diverse backgrounds., • Highly adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy., • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements, • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time., • Valid passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay., • Successful completion of required background checks., • Must be able to relocate to Philippines for the duration of the project., • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
