POSITION DESCRIPTION The Receptionist will be responsible for welcoming clients, students, and staff into the building and ensuring the they are directed to the proper department. The Receptionist provides a high-level customer service. Duties also include answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, and other additional clerical duties. The receptionist is the first point of contact for any new client or enrolling students and is responsible for administering applications and information about programming. As a Peer Engagement Specialist, you will respond to mental health crises in the Uptown, Lakeview, and North Center communities, acting as an alternative to or in conjunction with hospitalization or police response.
