Job DescriptionJob Title: Concrete Repair Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Repair Technician to join our team, specializing in heavy, labor-intensive concrete restoration work on commercial and infrastructure projects. This role requires expertise in chipping, grinding, patching, and structural repair, often in high-dust and high-intensity environments. Technicians must adhere to strict safety procedures, utilize fall-protection equipment, and wear respirators. The position involves traveling to job sites across New York and New Jersey. Responsibilities • Perform concrete restoration tasks such as chipping, grinding, patching, and structural repair., • Follow strict safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment, including fall-protection systems and respirators., • Travel to various job sites within New York and New Jersey to perform concrete repair work., • Use hand tools and power tools effectively for concrete repair tasks., • Maintain strong physical stamina to lift, bend, kneel, and work long hours in demanding environments.Essential Skills, • Experience with heavy concrete labor including chipping, demolition, patching, and structural repair., • Proficiency in using chipping guns, grinders, and other concrete repair tools., • Ability to work at heights and use fall-protection systems., • Capability to wear a half-face respirator and meet fit-test requirements., • Familiarity with construction safety protocols and personal protective equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus., • Prior experience in concrete restoration, waterproofing, or structural repair is preferred., • Ability to work on temporary flooring, scaffolding, and elevated platforms., • OSHA certifications are a plus but not required., • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team with primarily Spanish-speaking crews.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln Park, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
