Claremont Veterinary Hospital is a beautiful small animal GP practice with a loyal, long-standing client base. We care deeply about the relationship between doctor, pet, and caregiver. We also like to laugh a lot, keep things light, and we have three clinic cats (Olivia, Ella, and Peach) whom our team absolutely adores. We’re looking for a thoughtful, team-oriented veterinarian who values both quality medicine and a positive, collaborative work environment. Hospital Flow • Exams are performed in treatment (highly efficient, team-supported flow), • 4–5 technicians supporting when 2 doctors are on, • AI scribe, • Mix of wellness and preventative care, dentistry, and surgery Facility • Beautiful, clean, well-organized hospital layout with many windows in the rooms, • 4 exam rooms, • Doctors have their own desk, computer, and phone, • Large surgical suite with windows to the outside (one-way glass reflectors), 2 tables (1 for dentals, 1 mobile table), • Spacious break room, well lit, with visibility into treatment if desired; table, chairs, fridge, microwave, sink, • Full in-house IDEXX lab + send-out capability, • In-house + online pharmacy, • Ultrasound, endoscope, orthopedic equipment What We’re Looking For We’re open to both early-career and experienced veterinarians. • DVM/VMD with California veterinary license (or eligibility), • Full-time or part-time options New grads: You’ll get strong mentorship in surgery, dentistry, and general practice. We love teaching. Experienced doctors: We'd love to hear what interests you most and would welcome something new to the team, like acupuncture or orthopedics. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a veterinarian DVM or VMD We require a valid California veterinary license and ability to obtain a DEA license In addition to high-quality medicine and surgical skills, we are looking for doctors with excellent client communication and customer service skills as well as a dedication to continued education. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range for this opportunity is $135,000 - $170,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
