Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in West Allis, Wisconsin. • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 03/09/2026, • Duration: 12 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights, • Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2304.00 Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work in a 20-bed emergency department with 8 overflow beds and 4 clinical assessment chairs, • Patient ratios: 1:3-4 during day shifts, 1:4-5 during night shifts, • Treat patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics with 10%-15% pediatric population, • Handle diverse cases including chest pain, dizziness, syncope, strokes, sepsis, orthopedic injuries, respiratory distress/failure, STEMI, and behavioral health medical clearance, • Must have 1 year emergency department experience within the past year, • Prefer additional 2-5 years of nursing experience, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, • Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI/MOAB, CEN, • Skills required: general ED skills, strong IV skills, cardiac rhythm interpretation/monitoring, foley placement/management, NGT placement/management, STEMI/CVA/Sepsis treatment knowledge, medication titration, • Experience with EPIC EMR within the last 2 years required, • Work with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system, • May float based on facility needs to work as helping hands, taskers, sitters, or runners, • One shift orientation including facility onboarding and unit precepting, • Professional scrubs in any color (no camo, denim, or hoodies), • Free parking available on 3rd floor or higher of East parking structure Facility: This medical center operates as a Level IV Trauma Center and Level III NICU with Primary Stroke Center designation. The 277-bed facility provides comprehensive emergency services treating an average of 100-200 patients daily. The emergency department features 24/7 support including hospitalists, respiratory therapists, phlebotomy assistance, and telemetry monitoring both at bedside and nursing stations. The facility maintains dedicated charge nurses, ED educators during weekdays, and flow nurses during peak hours to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
