Job Description Title: Accounting Operations Coordinator Location: Milwaukee, WI Shift: First Shift, Onsite The Accounting Operations Coordinator supports the organization’s daily financial and procurement operations. This role manages core accounting activities—including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, and sales tax processing—while also assisting with purchasing, order staging, and post‐sales administrative workflows. The position ensures accurate financial records, timely vendor and customer transactions, and effective coordination between internal teams and external partners. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations • Process and maintain all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions., • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices across multiple service categories (labor, recurring services, cloud/hosting, project work, etc.)., • Reconcile billing activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards., • Perform general ledger maintenance, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‐end support., • Manage sales tax compliance, including verification of taxable items, rate accuracy, and timely filing., • Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections follow‐up., • Coordinate purchasing activities with distributors, vendors, and partners., • Manage product staging, order processing, and post‐sales documentation., • Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and inventory‐related information., • Provide administrative support to finance, operations, and leadership teams., • Coordinate communication with vendors, clients, and internal staff., • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and general office tasks., • Maintain organized records across accounting and purchasing functions. Education & Qualifications • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred., • 3–4 years of experience in accounting, billing, or purchasing roles., • Experience with general ledger, journal entries, and sales tax strongly preferred.
