Position Summary As a Personal Care Aide, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily activities that help clients remain safe, healthy, and comfortable at home. From personal hygiene to mobility support, your care will be rooted in respect and tailored to each client’s unique needs. This is more than a job—it’s a calling to serve with heart. Due to the hiring requirements of our license, we are currently only able to move forward with applicants who already have valid authorization to work in the United States. Why You’ll Love Working With Us • Competitive pay with opportunities for advancement, • Flexible scheduling and shifts to fit your life, • Paid training, including CPR and specialized care skills, • Supportive, team-oriented culture—where you’re treated like ‘ohana, • The chance to make a meaningful difference every single day What You’ll Do • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene, • Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation (inside and outside the home), • Help clients with exercises or therapy activities as directed, • Monitor and report changes in condition or concerns to supervisors, • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, • Perform light housekeeping related to client care, • Provide companionship and emotional support, • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements, • Document care provided in our agency system (AxisCare) Part-Time Caregiver Benefits • Flexible, unpaid time off (personal & sick), • Paid holidays and overtime pay, • 401(k) retirement plan, • Life insurance coverage, • Shift differentials for nights and weekends, • On-the-job training and skill development, • Potential for transportation assistance to & from work What We’re Looking For • Age 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, • Nurse aide training, preferably with current CNA certification, • Prior caregiving experience (family or professional) strongly preferred, • CPR certification (American Heart Association) or willingness to obtain, • Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and personal care best practices, • Physical ability to lift, bend, and support clients as needed, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity, • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for assignments), • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
