Job Description Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ field experience in commercial refrigeration service and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience with installations, maintenance, duct work, and chillers. An EPA Certification is mandatory for this role. The ability to use technology for work orders and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers is essential. Additionally, candidates must be willing to work overtime. Responsibilities • Perform service and troubleshooting of commercial refrigeration systems., • Conduct installations, maintenance, and duct work., • Work with chillers and perform preventive maintenance., • Utilize technology for work orders and maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers., • 5 years of field experience in commercial refrigeration service., • EPA Certification., • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills., • Proficient in HVAC service, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance., • JLA Badge Join a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1995. Work Environment This role involves client-facing responsibilities, requiring professionalism at all times. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must have their own tools and work boots. Initially, you will ride along with a technician for one or two weeks, after which you must be comfortable working independently. The work primarily covers Pinellas and Hillsborough counties Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
