Job Description KVC Missouri – Transitional Living Program Location: Springfield, MO Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-5:00PM Salary: $42,000-$45,000 annually About the Program The TLP program provides longer-term, supportive housing and case management for homeless youth ages 16 to 21 who are unstably housed. The program helps participants transition to independence by offering safe, stable housing and comprehensive support services such as life skills training, education and employment assistance, mental and physical health referrals, and family reunification efforts when appropriate. The ultimate goal of TLP is to equip young people with the skills, resources, and stability they need to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term housing stability. Position Summary This role is hands-on, relationship-focused, and impactful. You will walk alongside youth as they work toward stability — celebrating milestones, building trust, and helping them move into adulthood with confidence. Job Duties Include: • Conduct intake assessments to determine eligibility, risk level, and individualized service needs., • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized case plans focused on achieving stable housing, employment, education, and self-sufficiency., • Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based support through regular one-on-one meetings with youth., • Support youth in developing independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, transportation, and time management., • Coordinate with schools, courts, child welfare, and other service providers to ensure continuity of care., • Support youth in locating, applying for, and maintaining safe, affordable housing upon program exit., • Provide aftercare follow-up to monitor ongoing stability and offer continued support or referrals. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related degree Licensure/Certification: Able to obtain a class E driver's license and meet KVC Missouri’s requirement for driver’s insurance Benefits: Why KVC?
