Supervisor:Chief Advancement Officer(CAO) Starting Salary Range:$68,000-$72,000 The Role: The Project Manager supports the CAOand theDevelopment & Communicationsteam by coordinating projects, improving department-wide systems, and helping ensure the smooth execution of fundraising and communications work.Serving as aright hand to the CAOin executing their strategic vision, this role combines project management, team operations, andexecutive supportto keep priorities moving forward and ensurestrong communicationacross thedepartment. The ideal candidate ishighlyorganized,finds joy in building relationships andcollaborating, andiscomfortable managing many moving pieces at once. This role offers the opportunity towork closely with the CAO andcontribute directly to work that drives awareness, fundraising, and community engagement in support of Project Breads mission. Primary Responsibilities: Executive Support: • Managethe CAOs calendarandschedulingand supportdaily workflow;anticipateneeds and adjust priorities as needed., • Draft and coordinateinternal and externalcommunicationson behalf of the CAO., • Support the preparation forinternal and external meetings, such as creating agendas, presentations and briefingmaterialsand managing eventlogistics., • Support communication between CAO and the Executive Team, maintain alignment on priorities and objectives,so asto support CAO in strategic decision making., • Manage expense reports, invoices, andotheradministrative taskstosupport smoothdepartmentaloperations. Strategic Project Management: • Lead or support special projects that advance Development & Communications team goals, coordinating contributors, timelines, and deliverables., • Work cross-functionallyacross departmentsto ensure smooth execution, problem-solve barriers, and keep projects movingforward.Serve as a connector between the CAO and Development and Communications teams, supporting prioritization, communication flow, and decision-making., • Facilitate the creation of the quarterly Board memo, soliciting and synthesizing content from the Development & Communications Team. Development and Communications Team Support: • Support annual department planning, coordinating the development of goals, budget, and work plans, and tracking progress throughout the year., • Coordinatedepartmentmeetingsand annual departmentretreat, including managing scheduling andlogistics, creating agendas, and supportingfacilitation.., • Maintain and improve departmental processes to support collaboration, track follow-upitemsand deadlines,, • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the Development and Communications team. Organizational Responsibilities: • Support the annual Walk for Hunger, including working as eventstaffthe weekend of the Walk (first weekend in May), and attending pre-Walk events as assigned., • Participate in organization-wide events and meetings., • Act to promote, sustain, and grow Project Breads positive, productive, and inclusive working environment. Additional Qualifications and Experience: • Personal commitment to solving hunger in Massachusetts., • 3+ years of professional experienceinexecutivesupport, nonprofit communicationsand development, project management, or similar role., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting correspondence and preparing materials and presentations., • Proven ability to manage complex scheduling, priorities, and competing deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to give and receivetimelyfeedback., • Skilled in the use of technology, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint),Asana,and Raisers Edge, and able to learn and adapt to new systems., • Being multilingual is not a requirement for the role but is recognized as an asset. Work Location All employees are currentlyworkinga hybrid remote and in-office model and are expected to spend at leastsome timein the office each week. TheProject Managerwill need to be present in the East Boston officeregularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, andadditionaldays as needed,to support the Chief Advancement Officer and interact with other staffin order tosuccessfully fulfill the duties of the role.
