Job Description Warehouse Technician Job Description As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe handling of materials, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work alongside a diverse team of experts, collaborating on innovative solutions that drive sustainability, optimize operations, and adhere to stringent safety standards. Shift: schedule of Wednesday from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm with a 10% differential for hours worked after 5pm. Responsibilities • Adhere to written work instructions, ensuring the accurate and safe execution of tasks., • Work safely, utilizing all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), and promptly escalate any potential safety or quality concerns to the appropriate personnel., • Perform accurate quality control checks on incoming materials, maintaining high standards of product integrity., • Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated locations., • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences, such as size, temperature specifications, type, style, or product code., • Unload materials, verify paperwork and packing slips, note discrepancies, and distribute items to the designated recipient., • Assemble paperwork received from customer service representatives and place orders on pallets or designated locations., • Mark materials with identifying information and verify items for secure and efficient shipment., • Use computers for inter-company correspondence, download temperature recorder data, and verify temperature control within customer specifications., • Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment to move, put away, or retrieve specified materials, following safety rules and regulations., • Maintain showcase standards by ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the service center, including picking up and disposing of trash., • Forklift operating, • Material handling, • RF scanner, • Chemical handling, • Inventory control, • Sit down forklift, • Shipping & receiving, • Reach truck, • Reach lift, • Cycle counting, • Warehouse operations, • Previous warehouse experience required., • Experience with computer applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and MRP systems is desired. This role offers a competitive rate with additional pay for evening hours. The facility is highly organized and clean, with approximately five forklifts operating simultaneously. It is a busy work area with many deadlines and products to move, requiring a keen awareness of surroundings due to the frequent operation of forklifts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
