Chandler Behavioral Health is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at our Crisis Residential Facility in Virginia. This short-term stabilization program offers a safe, supportive environment for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. About the Role As an LPN at Chandler Behavioral Health, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed care to adults in crisis. You'll play a key role in supporting recovery by providing direct nursing care, administering medications, and participating in treatment planningall within a fast-paced, collaborative setting. Shift Available: - Every Other Weekend from 7am - 7pm (willing to do 8 hour shifts as well) Registered Nurse (RN) Are you an experienced RN with a passion for leading and teaching other skilled nursing staff? The RN Shift Supervisor provides, plans, coordinates or manages nursing care and health education for nursing home residents. Responsibilities: - Supervises nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others - Reviews and implements all nursing procedures and systems. - Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality resident care and performance of staff. - Uses a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care. - Contributes to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care. - Develops a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care. - Evaluates the resident’s responses to nursing interventions. - Knows the rationale for the effect of medications and treatments and correctly administers the same. Qualifications: - Current state license as an RN. - Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired. - Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing desired.
