Sr. Service Manager – Gulf–Heartland Territory - Leads the charge in technician operations, driving project success, resource optimization, and team safety. This high-impact role blends strategic leadership, hands-on project management, and technical command to deliver top-tier performance across the region. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Team Management – ~3 direct reports, ~30 org size, ~$30M P&L • Lead and manage teams of engineering technicians., • Assign tasks, set goals/KPIs, and monitor performance., • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support professional growth., • Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary matters., • Collaborate with engineers to plan, schedule, and execute projects., • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines., • Track progress, resolve challenges, and ensure deadlines are met., • Develop and implement quality control procedures., • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards., • Address quality issues through corrective actions., • Oversee inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies., • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and calibration of equipment., • Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols., • Conduct safety training and audits., • Identify and mitigate safety hazards., • Coordinate with engineers, departments, and stakeholders to align efforts., • Facilitate problem-solving and technical troubleshooting., • Maintain open, transparent communication with team members., • Strategic Decision-Making: Assess complex situations, consider long-term implications, and align actions with company goals., • Effective Communication: Articulate vision, expectations, and feedback clearly while actively listening and encouraging input., • Fostering Growth: Mentor and invest in team development, promoting continuous learning and career advancement. Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts., • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)., • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices., • Experience with inventory management software and systems., • Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies., • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position The estimated salary range for this position is $100,00.00 - 150,000.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
