Job Description Job Summary: As a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector at Riverhawk Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and integrity of our products throughout the manufacturing process. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality standards will directly contribute to the reliability and excellence of our engineering solutions. You will collaborate closely with our production team to conduct thorough inspections, identify defects, and uphold our reputation for delivering top-tier products to our clients. Our 2nd shift is 2:30-11:00pm, Monday-Friday. What You'll Do: • Perform comprehensive inspections of machined parts, components, and assemblies using a variety of precision measuring instruments., • Follow established inspection procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards., • Identify and document defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities, communicating findings to the production team and quality assurance leadership., • Collaborate with the production team to provide real-time feedback on quality issues and assist in resolving quality-related challenges., • Conduct first-article inspections on new or modified components, validating their adherence to design specifications., • Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation to support traceability and compliance efforts., • A willingness to work 2nd Shift (M-F, 2:30-11:00pm.), • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus., • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing or precision machining environment., • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators., • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)., • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills., • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment., • Pay range - $17.00-20.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skills, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications.), • Shift differential of $0.75/hr for all hours worked on 2nd Shift, • 96 hours of PTO and an additional 56 hours of paid sick leave annually for new hires, with additional PTO added after five years of service, • Ten paid holidays, • Discretionary bonuses based on company performance, • Outstanding medical insurance with a company funded health reimbursement account (HRA) to cover medical bills, • Choice of two dental insurance options, • Vision insurance, • Immediate 100% vesting in Company 401(k) Plan with 3% Company Contribution, • Company paid short term disability insurance and $25,000 life insurance policy with the option to purchase long term disability insurance and additional life insurance if interested Applicants who we wish to join our team will receive a conditional offer, pending the successful completion of a four panel drug test and a background screen.
