As a Warehouse Associate, your job duties include supporting the warehouse by preparing, processing and moving inventory productively, safely, and accurately per established standards and guidelines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment, • Pulls and prepares products for shipment, • Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped, • Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standard, • Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers, • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods, • Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security requirements, • Material handling & warehousing duties including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and delivering material., • Receives, unpacks, and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices., • Maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary., • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped., • Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment., • Prepares kitting packages for assembly or shipping., • Maintains inventory accuracy within established guidelines., • Other activities include data entry and cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy. Education & Experience • Completion of High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required, • Two years minimum of related industry experience required, • Pass and maintain organizational forklift certification., • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals., • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence., • Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide., • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to operate a forklift., • Basic computer skills with Proficiency in Microsoft Office., • Positive attitude and ability to work well with co-workers and management., • Strong attention to detail—the candidate demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all areas., • Communication skills – the candidate can communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with customers and staff., • Attention to detail—the candidate demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all areas., • Dependability—the candidate is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance., • Requires significant portion of the day on your feet., • Moderate noise due to equipment, • Employee will be in an environment with:, • Lift truck and other material moving equipment, • Variant temperature based on outside weather Job Type: Non-exempt/Hourly Compensation: $20 More about our team!
