Job DescriptionOwn the Night. Keep the Plant Running. It’s 2:00 am in St. Louis. A pump trips, a line goes quiet, and production is counting on you. You grab the schematic, lock out the circuit, trace the fault, and bring the system back online—then log the fix and stage the parts for a permanent repair at dawn. Location: 7405 Page Ave, St. Louis, MO Employment: Direct, Full Time When You’ll Work & What You’ll Earn • Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am (OT as needed), • Training: First 2 weeks on a split shift, • Union System: Hours may change based on the Union bid process, • Compensation: $36.41/hr base + $0.75 shift differential; bi-weekly pay; bonus eligible, • Future Increase: Base moves to $37.41 in July 2026 Your Mission, • Diagnose and repair utility and production systems: boilers, HVAC, pumps, electrical distribution, and controls, • Perform welding to restore or install components and structures, • Run safe work practices—every time: lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and fall protection, • Handle maintenance-related hazardous waste removal and transport to the designated storage area when required, • Support storeroom operations under supervisor direction: receive and verify parts against POs; maintain bin cards, inventory data, requisitions, and employee issue files; generate purchase requisitions; keep accurate cGMP/ISO records; and maintain a clean, orderly area, • Tackle construction and general repair tasks across the facility and uphold a strong safety and troubleshooting track record What Success Looks Like, • Within 30 days: You’re confidently navigating plant areas, systems, and documentation standards, • Within 60 days: You’re independently closing work orders across multiple crafts and maintaining precise records, • Within 90 days: You’re a go-to resource for diagnosing tough boiler/HVAC/electrical issues and coordinating with cross-functional partners Must-Have Qualifications, • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (single or multi-craft), • Associate’s degree in Industrial Technology or Industrial Maintenance; OR 10 years relevant experience with HS Diploma/GED, • Ability to read instructions, safety labels, manuals, and schematics, • Competence with basic math, writing, and data entry, • Hands-on proficiency spanning industrial electronics, welding, pipefitting, carpentry, shop machine operation, pump repair, boiler repair, and HVAC (education or experience), • Capable of basic rescue/life-saving duties when serving as safety backup; CPR training/certification is provided—must be willing and able to comply Nice-to-Haves, • Stationary Engineering Certification (Boiler Certification), • HVAC Certification, • Advanced skill with Boilers, HVAC Systems, Lathe, and Fabrication, • Experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams, • Instrumentation Controls background Physical Demands & Work Conditions, • Reach all equipment areas: confined spaces, ceiling-mounted assets, pits, and tight-access machinery (climb/crawl as needed), • Lift/carry ~70 lbs; climb up to ~30 feet; stand and walk for extended periods, • Use ladders and narrow stairs safely; wear PPE as required, • Market competitive pay, • Extensive PTO with added holidays, • Medical, Dental, Vision, • Short- and Long-Term Disability, • 401(k) with company match, • Maternity & Paternal Leave, • Optional add-ons/discounts (e.g., Pet Insurance), • Tuition reimbursement and continued education opportunities, • Heavy Equipment Repair; Diesel & Heavy Equipment Systems, • Mechanical/Electrical Troubleshooting; Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting, • Commercial/Industrial Electrical Systems; High Voltage Systems, • Electrical Repair & Troubleshooting; Electrical Systems & Diagnostics (Heavy Equipment), • HVAC Maintenance & Troubleshooting, • Pneumatics Troubleshooting; Hydraulics Systems & Components, • Boiler Troubleshooting; Boiler Certification, • General Maintenance & Repair Skills; Industrial Electrical Experience; Industrial Electrical Systems
