Job Description POSITION: Delinquency Manager REPORTS TO: Senior Delinquency Manager COMPENSATION: Salary plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility LOCATION: Hybrid POSITION SUMMARY The Delinquency Manager is the operational core of Solidago’s resident ledger health. This role is responsible for scrubbing resident ledgers across an assigned community portfolio, coaching Assistant Community Managers on delinquency best practices, and executing the full delinquency lifecycle — from early intervention through eviction coordination and collections handoff. The Delinquency Manager operates at the intersection of site-level execution and centralized standards. They are not a call center function — EliseAI/Sophi handles routine outreach. The Delinquency Manager handles the exceptions, the edge cases, the compliance-sensitive situations, and the coaching that turns site staff into capable delinquency partners. Critically, this role is also building the standardized practices that will anchor Solidago’s centralized delinquency model as it matures. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree; Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred., • Minimum 10+ years of experience in affordable housing, with direct PBV and RAD program experience., • Strong understanding of contract rents, rent adjustments, and OCAF calculations., • Experience working directly with Housing Authorities., • Thorough knowledge of LIHTC, HUD regulations and PHA administrative plans, in addition to low-income housing tax credit, tax-exempt bond, and other affordable housing programs., • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to train and support multi-site property teams., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proficiency in tracking systems, reporting tools, and property management software., • Ability to provide technical assistance on complex compliance issues in a simple and accurate manner to ensure compliant and quality applications., • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years in collections, delinquency management, or property management operations., • Experience in affordable housing, LIHTC, or HUD-regulated communities strongly preferred., • Working knowledge of eviction processes and landlord-tenant law; Texas and/or Kentucky experience preferred., • Familiarity with property management systems (Entrata, RealPage, Yardi, or equivalent)., • Comfort working alongside AI-assisted platforms and automated communication workflows., • Strong coaching and communication skills — ability to develop site staff without direct authority., • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage high-volume portfolios under firm deadlines.
