Job Summary: The Caregiver Recruiter Staffing Specialist is responsible for recruiting onboarding scheduling and supporting caregivers to ensure high quality compliant and compassionate care. This role manages the caregiver lifecycle including sourcing hiring training and retention while maintaining accurate records and compliance with state home care regulations. The position serves as a primary point of contact for caregivers and works closely with operations and care management teams to ensure proper caregiver client matching coverage and ongoing support in a fast-paced home care environment. Key Responsibilities: Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new caregivers in compliance with state home care license requirements., • Execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality caregivers to meet immediate and projected needs., • Utilize multiple sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach, to maintain a healthy applicant pipeline., • Conduct telephone screens, interviews, and reference checks, including work history, compensation, and manager feedback., • Create and maintain electronic caregiver files, including applications, bios, photos, background and reference checks, supervisor notes, and employment agreements., • Train caregivers and provide ongoing guidance to ensure compassionate, effective, and compliant care delivery., • Ensure caregivers are properly matched with clients based on skills, experience, personality, and availability., • Support ongoing caregiver training to enhance skills and maintain compliance with state regulations., • Serve as a primary point of contact for caregiver inquiries related to benefits, payroll, workers’ compensation, scheduling, and HR matters., • Maintain accurate caregiver profiles, including timekeeping, availability, and compliance documentation., • Assist with caregiver introductions and meet-and-greet visits with clients and families., • Conduct client visits when required to support care delivery, caregiver onboarding, or caregiver performance., • Drop off supplies or care-related materials to clients or caregivers when necessary., • Check in on caregivers in the field to provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and support., • Support clients through in-home visits by reinforcing care plan expectations and addressing non-clinical concerns., • Assist with home safety walkthroughs and report observations to the Director or care management team., • Develop and maintain caregiver schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all clients., • Coordinate client visits according to care plans and staff availability., • Document and report client or caregiver concerns to management, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement., • Review caregiver timekeeping, mileage, and time-off requests and submit for payroll processing., • Provide on-call and after-hours support as required., • Meet or exceed daily and weekly key performance indicators related to recruitment, retention, and scheduling effectiveness. Education: • Minimum two years of experience in healthcare, elder care, social work, or related industry., • One year of scheduling experience in a healthcare or human services setting using an online scheduling system preferred., • Tech-savvy, comfortable with heavy email use, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office products., • Strong multi-tasking skills, ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines., • Excellent oral and written communication skills with both clinical and non-clinical personnel., • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with caregivers and staff., • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States., • Ability to pass Live Scan background check. $60,000 - $75,000. Full-Time, Monday to Friday, Hourly, Non-Exempt This position is full-time, 37.5 hours/week. The compensation is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
