ABOUT THE ROLE Coach Across America is seeking a highly qualified and organized professional to assume the role of National Grants and Foundation Manager. The qualified candidate must be a team player who can work across departments and with Coach Across America staff across the nation. The candidate must have experience in grants management, scheduling, calendar keeping, process management, and donor relations. This position will report to the Vice President of Development. Coach Across America is a dynamic remote/hybrid work environment composed of a diverse group of nonprofit professionals whose mission is to recruit, train, and support coaches who transform youth, programs, and their communities. BENEFITS • Competitive salary based on experience., • 403(B) plan, • Insurance Coverage:, • Medical, Dental, and Vision options for staff and their family members, • Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Account options, • 100% Employer-Paid Basic Life Insurance, • Additional benefit options include pet insurance, voluntary life insurance, legal & ID theft protection, and transit pre-tax benefits., • Cell phone reimbursement per pay period, • Generous Paid Time Off policy: 15 to 30 PTO days per year based on length of employment, • 11 Paid Holidays, • Holiday Break: Paid time off between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day, • Excellent work-life balance and flexible work schedules, • Every Friday is a half day, and the last Friday of every month is a day off, • A dynamic, fun, exciting, and flexible work atmosphere with a team of professionals dedicated to supporting underserved youth through sports KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and manage a national development calendar for all foundation, government, and corporate donors using Salesforce and Google Suite., • Create and implement a Salesforce workflow process from pre-award to final reporting for all grants., • Coordinate all staff and departments through workflow processes in the intake, processing, activation and fulfillment, and reporting of grants., • Manage compliance aspects of grants to ensure all deliverables are met., • Develop and maintain a Grants Library with the necessary documents to fulfill grant requests., • Oversee an AmeriCorps Vista member (a junior staff member) in prospecting new donors and processing grant receivables., • Work with the CEO, VP of Development, and Regional Managing Directors to establish and maintain working relationships with national and regional foundations to increase or secure funding., • Coach regional staff in their foundation relationship cultivation and grant management processes., • Report on progress in grant management to senior staff on a monthly basis., • Participate in a dynamic fundraising and marketing team as they formulate and execute development and sponsorship activities., • Write all non-federal grant applications over the $25K threshold and project manage all other regional grant applications., • Proof all government grant applications., • Travel may be required on an as-needed basis, no more than 10% of your work time., • Other duties as determined by your supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS • Achievement-oriented personality and drive., • A strong background in full-cycle grant management, including prospecting, grant writing, fulfillment, and reporting., • At least 5 years of experience working in a non-profit development department with diverse sources of funding., • At least 3 years of experience in grants management and coordination., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong attention to detail and organization., • A team-player., • Salesforce experience., • Proven organization and systems development skills.
