The Clinical Educator develops, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates consistent clinical education across Givens Communities. This role serves as a corporate clinical education resource for skilled nursing, assisted living/adult care home, memory care, home care, and other clinical or clinical-adjacent service areas. The right candidate for this opportunity can be based in Asheville or Charlotte. What you'll do: • Develop and maintain a Givens Communities clinical education course catalog, annual education plan, and clinical education calendar, • Develop, review, and update clinical education materials using current regulations, evidence-informed practices, and organization standards as the foundation, • Support standardization of general clinical-related education provided to all staff, • Monitor clinical onboarding effectiveness through feedback, observation, reporting, and outcomes, • Develop and deploy competency checklists and related processes for clinical skills validation, • Actively support, and participate in annual nursing skills days, skills fairs, and other competency-focused education events across campuses as needed, • Coordinate or support mock surveys and survey readiness activities in licensed health care spaces in preparation for annual licensure surveys, life safety surveys, and other regulatory reviews, • Monitor clinical education compliance by reviewing assigned reports, tracking training completion or competency trends What you'll need: • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina, • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, • Basic knowledge of North Carolina regulations and survey expectations for skilled nursing, assisted living/adult care homes, memory care, and home care, • Three to five years of geriatric, long-term care, aging services, or clinical education experience preferred, • Experience with Staff Development Coordinator responsibilities preferred Compensation is $80,000 - $90,000 per year, based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package Still curious about what Givens is all about?
