Key Responsibilities: * Assist in conducting assessments of patients' physical conditions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. * Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the physical therapist. * Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. * Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, mobility aids, and strategies to promote independent living. * Monitor and document patients' progress, reporting any changes to the supervising physical therapist. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure a positive and supportive therapeutic environment. Qualifications: * Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. * Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. * Prior experience in home health is preferred, but not required. * Strong clinical and observational skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
