Yes, • Required Licensure & Certifications: RN: BLS, PALS, • EPIC experience, experience with Artic Sun, EVDs, Camino device (ICP and temp monitoring device), Belmont Rapid Infuser, management of critical care vasoactive drip titration, management of invasive lines - ART lines/CVP, aseptic and sterile techniques, basic dressing changes, ventilator and trach management, HOFV management, oral/nasal suctioning, g-tube/j-tube management, feeding tubes, chest tubes, epidurals, PCAs, sedation and analgesic drip management, Foley insertion and management, Alaris & Medfusion pump management, bedside procedures with providers, discharge skills, CRRT experience, • Ability/Competency to float to Pediatric CVICU - discussed during interview, • Floating: If yes, where? Pediatric CVICU, NICU, Neonatal PCU, Gen Peds - will float as needed, • UNIT IS LOOKING FOR 26-WEEK CONTRACTS!!!, • May be open to 48hr/week guarantee as well - please confirm with CRT (Avina and Callie), • No call for travelers, if the PICU cannot utilize them, they may be floated to PCVICU, Peds Progressive, NICU or general Peds units within LCH, • Patient Ratios: RN: Varies on acuity: 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, • About Facility: 247 Licensed Beds, • Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center, • Teaching Hospital, • Chest Pain Center, • Certified Stroke Center, • Unit Information: Beds: 24; 21-23 patient census on average, • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Respiratory, Trauma (which includes penetrating and non-accidental trauma, NAT), DKA, Seizures, Neurosurgical, Acute/Chronic Renal Failure, Orthopedic, Surgical, Transplants (Kidney and whole/partial Liver), complex Medical, Blood Disorders, • Support within the Department: CNA - 1 Health Care tech per day to support unit secretary duties and nursing support needs throughout the shift (runners, bathing, etc.), • Unit Secretary every shift, • Charge nurse, 24/7, • Phlebotomy, 24/7, • IV/VAT Team, 24/7, • Resource Nurse, • RT, 24/7, • Intensivist, 24/7, • Residents, in house, • APP, in house, • Telemetry monitoring Tech?
