The Installation department at ScriptPro plays a key role in bringing pharmacy automation systems to life for customers. The team handles on‑site setup, configuration, and verification of equipment to ensure each system is fully operational in its new environment. Their work requires technical expertise, professionalism, and adaptability as they support pharmacies through a smooth and successful installation experience. Job Summary: The Supervisor, Installation Operations at ScriptPro is a technical leader and strategic contributor overseeing installation projects, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting Field Installation Engineers. You will use your experience and leadership to drive excellence, optimize resource allocation, and ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. Reporting Relationship: Manager, Installation Operations Shift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This role is performed exclusively on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro. Scope of the Role: Evaluate and Support Field Installation Engineers: • Attend Field Operations planning meetings to review timelines and provide input for efficient project execution, ensuring correct allotted times, project flow, and equipment ordering, • Conduct pre‑travel reviews of timelines, procedures, tools, site considerations, and special instructions for flying engineers, while also verifying site prep to confirm readiness for installation., • During installation, support engineers via Teams or phone to maintain timelines, resolve issues quickly, and escalate concerns as needed while monitoring project status, • After installation, review photos, documentation, and evaluations for accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction, verifying checklists and SOP adherence, • Compile information for job reviews and lead 2–3 weekly review meetings to present findings or changes, guide engineers on proper Siebel documentation, and resolve related issues, • Calculate quotes for dispatch and on‑site expenses such as payroll, travel, lodging, and transportation fees, • Oversee end‑to‑end carnet processes, including inventory management, coordination of equipment needs and orders, preparation of border‑crossing documentation, and assignment of accurate line items and carnet numbers for engineers, • Prepare Pre‑Trip Requests by compiling customs prerequisites with the Administrative Coordinator and provide backup support for customs packet preparation, • Gather site information, ensure trade‑in contracts include proof of release back to the US, and verify accurate documentation for international trade shows, including matching serial and line numbers, • Work with Project Managers for site receiving, print Bills of Lading, coordinate pickup with shipping agents, and verify readiness, • Teach and reinforce core safety protocols, including general company and OSHA guidelines, regulatory requirements, proper equipment handling, and consistent PPE use, • Provide comprehensive, updated training across projects, onboarding, and compliance, ensuring teams are prepared for new products, upgrades, and specialized equipment, • Develop guides for processes not covered by SOPs and collaborate with training and product owners to update and maintain current procedures, • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred, • 4+ years experience working with ScriptPro or similar pharmacy automation systems, along with a strong background in installation, maintenance, and related technical operations, • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising technical installation projects, managing import/export of equipment through customs, and supporting and evaluating technical personnel., • Expert-level knowledge of industry best practices and technologies related to pharmaceutical automation, • Must possess strong skills in utilizing, creating, and editing documents within the Microsoft Office Suite, • Ability to accommodate shifting travel needs, including high‑demand periods reaching 70% and a stable long‑term expectation of 30% of the time, • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally, • Must maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, including possessing a valid DOT Medical Card and the appropriate commercial driver's license rating for the employee's state of residence, • Excellent leadership, mentorship, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and problem‑solving abilities, • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, process improvement, and innovation, • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, • Advanced certifications in ScriptPro systems or related technologies. Completion of annual cybersecurity and privacy awareness training is required, as the role aligns with the organization’s security posture and risk management practices. All duties are defined in accordance with standardizations to ensure consistency and accountability of the policies. Working Conditions: This position encompasses both office and workshop environments. Requires routine use of standard equipment and extended computer use. Employees may work near and around various conditions such as dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and tools, electrical components, and all-weather conditions. This position is very active and regularly required to stand, walk, sit, squat, stoop, bend, reach, and use hands and fingers. Ability to push, pull, and lift independently, encompassing all lifting positions from floor to overhead is required. Motor coordination, tool use, focused attention during extended periods of travel, and specific vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision, are required. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions are required.
