The Divisional Field Trainer is responsible for delivering, coordinating, and maintaining high-impact field training programs across assigned regions and divisions. This role partners closely with District Managers (DMs), Regional Managers (RMs), Divisional Vice Presidents (DVPs), and District Team Leads (DTLs) to ensure consistent execution, mastery of skills, and compliance with SROA processes and platforms. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), the Divisional Field Trainer functions as a key liaison between Learning & Development (L&D) and Field Operations, providing insights, feedback, and data-driven reporting to support performance improvement and operational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities Facilitation and Delivery • Manage new hire and promotional training programs for:, • District Managers (DM), • District Manager in Training (DMIT), • District Training Leaders (DTL), • Manage Operational Growth & Performance Enhancement training programs for:, • District Managers, • District Training Leaders (DTL), • Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers, • Maintain and update training content, including:, • Training presentations, • Participant worksheets, • Skills assessments and activities, • Job aids and quick-reference tools, • Training videos and visual guides, • Process guides, • Coordinate and manage training schedules, meetings, and virtual and in-person training sessions, ensuring timely enrollment and attendance., • Track learner progress and completion status throughout the training lifecycle., • Conduct follow-up with participants and leadership to confirm completion, understanding, and readiness for role expectations., • Conduct and track post-class skills assessment results, compile data by Division, Region, District, and Employee, • Maintain monthly training performance metrics and, • Identify gaps and trends from results; recommend targeted, • Follow up with learners and supervisors for incomplete assessments or low, • Confirm training completion only once all forms, assessments, and modules are, • Ensure timely collection of all Training Acknowledgement forms., • Monitor and verify completion of required e-Learning, • Maintain accurate records of all training activities, skill checks, acknowledgments, and, • Conduct periodic field audits to confirm compliance with training standards, policies, and operational processes., • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert across SROA systems, platforms, and field processes., • Act as a liaison between L&D and Field Operations, ensuring alignment and effective communication., • Participate in special projects related to learning, operations, and process, • Complete internal e-learning modules and stay current with company content and platform updates., • Research industry trends and recommend best practices to improve learning, • 5+ years of experience in field operations, training, or multi-unit leadership within retail, operations, or service-based environments., • Self-storage or Property Management preferred., • 3+ years of experience facilitating instructor-led training, both virtual and in-person., • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the work schedule., • Proven experience supporting multi-region or divisional operations, with the ability to adapt training delivery across diverse field environments., • Experience supporting sales performance, KPI-driven results, and operational metrics., • Proven ability to deliver coaching and development training that improves individual and team performance., • High proficiency in learning platforms, assessment tools, and presentation software., • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, or equivalent)., • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills., • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate learner performance and adjust training strategies., • Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills., • Competitive pay with bonus potential, • UKG Wallet – on-demand pay option, • 100% paid medical coverage options for employee-only, • Dental and vision plans for optimal care, • Eight (8) paid holidays, • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), increasing with years of service, • Paid Maternity and Parental Leave for growing families, • 401(k) with substantial employer match and 100% immediate vesting, • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (DCFSA) for tax-advantaged savings, • GAP Insurance for added financial protection, • Employer-paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability coverage, • Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage for added peace of mind, • Pet insurance – because your pets are family too, • Storage Discounts to help you declutter and organize, • Access to Voluntary Benefits for personalized coverage, • Learning and development opportunities to maximize your potential and excel in your career, • A great culture that values collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity SROA is an Equal Opportunity employer and uses the federal government E-Verify system to verify employment eligibility.
