Job Description We’re Hiring: Purchasing Supervisor Chatsworth, CA (On-site) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm/ Temp-Hire Pay: $38.46-50.48 an hour About the Role Are you a strategic procurement leader who thrives in regulated manufacturing environments? Do you enjoy negotiating great deals, building strong supplier partnerships, and keeping production running smoothly? We’re looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to lead sourcing and procurement for raw materials, packaging, and services supporting our growing vitamin, dietary supplement, and nutraceutical manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your decisions directly affect product quality, compliance, and cost efficiency. What You’ll Do Procurement & Sourcing • Source and purchase raw materials (active ingredients, excipients, capsules, flavors) and packaging (bottles, labels, cartons), • Develop and execute cost-effective procurement strategies, • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers, • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, • Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, compliance), • Track market trends and pricing fluctuations, • Control purchasing budgets and reduce material costs, • Support R&D with sourcing for new product development, • Coordinate with Operations, Production, Logistics, QA, and Regulatory teams, • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain processes What We’re Looking For Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA a plus), • 5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience, • Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing, • Strong knowledge of raw material and packaging sourcing, • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, • Solid understanding of FDA, cGMP, and dietary supplement regulations If you’re ready to take ownership of procurement in a regulated manufacturing environment and want your work to truly matter, we want to hear from you.
