Job DescriptionJob Title: Specialist Fulfillment (Warehouse Worker) Job Description This role supports order processing and plays a key part in the accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications within a specialty pharmacy fulfillment center. You will perform hands-on warehouse and material handling tasks, ensuring that every order is packed, verified, and shipped correctly and on time. Your work directly contributes to patient safety and well-being by helping deliver critical medications when they are needed most. Responsibilities • Perform manual packing duties, including packing and shipping completed orders using the fulfillment system., • Verify the accuracy of orders and ensure all items conform to established quality standards and specifications., • Prepare packages for mailing, including proper labeling, documentation, and packaging to prevent damage in transit., • Stock non-pharmaceutical products in accordance with applicable pharmacy regulations and site procedures., • Handle material movement activities such as unloading, material handling, stocking, and organizing inventory., • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in incoming goods and preparing outgoing shipments., • Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies., • Label products, bins, and storage locations clearly and accurately to support efficient order fulfillment., • Assist with department training by supporting new team members and sharing best practices as directed., • Support inventory management activities, including restocking, organizing, and maintaining clean and orderly storage areas., • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed based on operational priorities, judgment, or necessity., • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures to ensure medications are processed and shipped reliably and on time.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution., • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment., • Good verbal and written communication skills., • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and maintain confidentiality., • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, with or without accommodations., • Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting throughout the shift., • Willingness to work a flexible shift schedule, including adjusting hours as business needs require., • Ability to follow detailed procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate order fulfillment., • Reliability and strong attendance to support consistent operations in a time-sensitive environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with material handling, including unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory., • Background in shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse or fulfillment setting., • Familiarity with cycle counting and basic inventory control practices., • Experience with labeling products and storage locations in a structured warehouse environment., • Comfort working in a regulated environment such as a pharmacy or healthcare-related facility., • Interest in developing a longer-term career in pharmacy operations or related fields.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a specialty pharmacy fulfillment center that ships mail-order prescription medications, including medications used in life-critical situations. The work environment emphasizes precision, timeliness, and adherence to strict quality and safety procedures, as delays or errors in shipment can have serious consequences for patients. You will work on-site in a warehouse-style setting in the North Fayette area of Pittsburgh, PA, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with the expectation of flexibility in shift timing as business needs change. The position involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, and grasping throughout the shift. You will work with standard warehouse and packaging equipment and follow structured processes designed for accuracy and compliance in a pharmacy-regulated environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
