Work Style: In-person, Monday - Friday Job Purpose: The role of the Talent Aquisition (TA) Specialist is to facilitate the recruiting process with management for all open, approved positions within North America. The position will post, source, screen, and interview potential candidates. This role is also responsible for coordinating candidate feedback and recommendations for hire. As a first point of contact for many individuals interacting with Hankook Tire for their first time, this TA Specialist is expected to be a culture driver for the company by demonstrating a professional and positive demeanor throughout the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes. This position will perform other human resources activities such as onboarding support, collaboration with marketing and public relations for employer branding, additional employee services and administration. Key Accountabilities: • In partnership with hiring managers and leadership, develops and executes recruiting plans to fill open positions ranging from associate to director level. Positions are for our corporate functions and field sales (Marketing, Sales Innovation & Support, Customer Order Support, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal, and other corporate functions), • Utilizes LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify and connect with top candidates in the market, • Prepares and posts job descriptions to appropriate job boards, social media outlets, and/or approved recruiting firms, • Screens, interviews, and evaluates potential candidates and refers qualified candidates to the respective hiring manager, • Creates and maintains recruiting information records and personnel documents, such as job descriptions and employment letters, • Acts as the head system administrator for company's applicant tracking system, Greenhouse, • Acts as a main point of contact for company's relationships with recruiting vendors, external agencies, and other stakeholders, • Administers company's temporary employees' programs, • Attends and prepares for all recruiting events (job/career fairs, connecting socials, etc.) for the North America Headquarters, our Detroit office and in partnership with Tennessee Manufacturing Plant teams, • Executes candidate compensation reviews for all formal offers, • Manages the company's relocation assistance program, • Manages the company's referral program in partnership with the payroll and benefits specialist, • Administers the company's internal application process in partnership with the internal HR team, • Creates and implements the company's internship program, • Coordinates with upper management and global HR for approvals and hiring reports, • Acts as a resource to company employees for all recruiting related questions, issues and requests, • Implements and recommends changes to recruiting policies and procedures, • Any other duties/responsibilities as assigned by management. Level of Accountabilities: • Performs routine assignments in an entry or professional level, • Work under indirect supervision, • Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others Core Competencies: • Professionalism & ethical conduct, • Strong interpersonal & professional communication skills, • Planning & execution, • Problem solving & analysis, • Attention to detail Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required, • Bachelor's degree relevant to HR Management or Psychology preferred, • 2 – 4 years recruiting experience for corporate jobs required, • Positions are for our corporate functions and field sales (Marketing, Sales Innovation & Support, Customer Order Support, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Legal, and other corporate functions), • 2 - 4 years utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other technology to source, identify, and recruit top talent, • 1 – 4 years of experience within the tire and/or auto industry preferred, • Advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word preferred, • Works primarily in a general office environment; May occasionally travel to other business locations., • Primarily works normal office hours, e.g. 8am – 5pm but must be willing and able to work extended hours as occasionally required., • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer., • Frequent walking and standing, visual contact and hearing.
