Role Summary Our client is looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Director of Technology Operations to spearhead their IT functions, software systems, business applications, and technological infrastructure. In this capacity, you will oversee the comprehensive management, planning, and implementation of all information technology systems and digital initiatives supporting their multi-site operations. This executive position demands a combination of visionary planning and hands-on implementation, as you will engage directly with systems, infrastructure, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure their technology landscape enables business expansion and operational superiority. Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership • Oversee financial planning for technology investments, supplier partnerships, and personnel deployment, • Create and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps that support organizational goals and expansion initiatives, • Research and propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and strengthen security posture, • Direct infrastructure development projects and strategic technology deploymentsOperational Management, • Champion security programs and maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and industry protocols, • Supervise round-the-clock functionality of technology platforms, networking equipment, servers, cloud environments and supporting infrastructure, • Establish and uphold comprehensive backup strategies and operational continuity frameworks, • Guarantee optimal system performance, reliability, and protection across all technology assetsHands-On Execution, • Architect and implement networking frameworks, server environments, and cloud-based solutions, • Take direct part in technology rollouts, system configurations, and technical problem resolution, • Serve as final technical escalation point for mission-critical system challenges, • Direct enterprise software deployments, database operations, and system integration initiativesTeam Leadership, • Partner with business unit leaders to identify technological requirements and implement effective solutions, • Recruit, coach, and cultivate IT professionals within the organization, • Create comprehensive technology governance frameworks, operational procedures, and industry best practices, • Cultivate an environment focused on ongoing enhancement and technical mastery Requirements Required Qualifications • Deep knowledge in networking design, systems management, and information security protocols, • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline, • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities along with strong relationship-building skills, • 10+ years experience in technology leadership positions, ideally within medium-scale organizations, • Demonstrated success overseeing distributed IT environments across multiple sites, • Solid understanding of business operations with capability to synchronize technology initiatives with corporate strategies, • Established history of directing enterprise-level technology infrastructure and daily operations, • Superior project coordination and administrative capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications, • Understanding of regulatory compliance structures and security protocols, • Advanced degree in Information Systems, Management, or comparable field, • Proficiency with IT operations management platforms and structured methodologies, • Industry credentials (CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent certifications), • Hands-on experience with major cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), • Proven experience in enterprise resource planning system deployment and oversight, • Comprehensive benefits package, • Base compensation range: $150,000 - $180,000, • Full-time position located in Baltimore County, Maryland, • Annual performance-based incentive compensation Equal Employment Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Both Keller Executive Search and our clients are Equal Opportunity Employers.
