Job Description Consider joining our ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) Team! The ERM Team oversees all Compliance and Risk for the credit union. Do you have past experience in Compliance, Fraud, Audit, or Risk Management for a Credit Union or Bank? In this position you will collect and organize risk related data, perform clerical tasks, and work on special projects related to compliance and risk management. Title: ERM Analyst Position Status – Full Time – non-exempt (Hourly) Reports To: SVP Enterprise Risk Management Target hiring pay information: $23.87 - $29.84 The listed pay information includes the minimum rate of pay to the mid-point rate of pay for the posted position The actual compensation for this position may vary based upon, but not limited to, licenses or certifications, education or equivalent work experience, market data, qualifications, relevant experience, prior work and performance history, geographic location, and business sector. Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to assist Center Parc Credit Union (CPCU) to live out our Mission, “To help our members achieve financial success by providing exceptional products and service.” The ERM Analyst has a hands-on role, focusing on data aggregation and project support within the risk management framework. The analyst plays a crucial part in the risk management framework of the credit union, focusing on practical tasks that support the overall risk strategy and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. • Adhere to and deliver on Center Parc’s core values:, • Serve Exceptionally, • Commit to Better, • Find the Fun, • Invest in Integrity, • Follow the Numbers, • Go Forth and Conquer, • Protect with Passion, • Aggregate Data: Collect and organize risk-related data from various sources to support decision-making processes for departmental leadership., • Prepare and develop comprehensive reports that highlight risk exposure and provide insights for the ERM and fraud leadership teams., • May create forecasting models in support of departmental objectives and business plans; Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in data sets., • Performs ad-hoc analysis activities as requested by the SVP, • Work in collaboration with Information Services and vendor resources to contribute to the creation reporting rules and configuration requirements for queries and data mapping., • Liaison with the project management team and, as required or assigned act as the primary resource for coordinating with project management team on enterprise risk management (ERM) initiatives., • Support Project Implementation by assisting in the planning and executing ERM projects, ensuring they are aligned with departmental expectations., • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and best practices: As required by the SVP assist with outgoing communications to departments impacted by regulatory changes or updates., • Work closely with other departments to garner their feedback on their understanding of risk management., • As assigned, collaborate with the training department to request updates or edits to compliance and regulatory training materials., • Complete a variety of clerical duties, and research associated with risk and fraud management activities of the department., • As requested, gather data and information associated with internal audit requests., • Use strong interpersonal skills, and engaging communication skills., • As required, participates in project meetings for the implementation of new software tools or applications and may serve in a testing role during due diligence for new software or applications., • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders., • Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills in all work activities., • Demonstrate effective time management and prioritizes daily work to meet deadlines and goals, • Attend ongoing training as needed, including on and off-site workshops and webinars to maintain a high level of knowledge related to the position., • Comply with all aspects of BSA/AML and OFAC regulations as they relate to this position., • The ability to travel overnight or to other business locations less than 5%., • Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports. May manage day-to-day tasks through indirect reporting relationships or through a matrixed management approach and the ability to collaboratively interact with internal and external partners. REQUIRED Education and/or Experience: • An associate degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field of study or 2 years of additional specific work experience in lieu of degree, • 2 plus years of transactional work experience in banking, financial services, or a credit union, • Prior work experience where an understanding of risk was required, • 10-Key calculator, typing and keying skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software PREFFERED Education and/or Experience: • A bachelor’s degree in business management, Business Administration, or related field of study, • 3 years of specific enterprise risk management experience in bank or credit union, • Prior experience completing transactions in Symitar, and Meridian Link, • Working knowledge fraud prevention processes Physical Job Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines such as calculator, computer, printer, facsimile, telephone, copier, etc. Must be able to stand, bend and stoop as needed. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 5 to 25 pounds.
