Connected's mission has always been to breed, grow, and sell the best cannabis in the world, setting the highest standards for its products, people, and partners wherever we go. \nAbout the Job\n The role of the Production Manager provides vision, direction and management of production planning and operations. Ensures compliance with company procedures and product specifications. \n \nWhat You Will Do\n Leadership \n\n • Lead, motivate, and develop production and inventory teams, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and open communication.\n, • Set and track performance goals to drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement.\n, • Be proactive and assertive in addressing conflicts, poor performance, in real time.\n, • Support strategic and operational planning, resource allocation, and budgeting to meet production and company objectives.\n, • Quickly address and resolve quality and facility issues to minimize downtime and risk.\n, • Champion safety standards and compliance with all company policies and regulations.\n, • Oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and compliance targets.\n, • Ensure accurate and compliant packaging, labeling, and inventory conversions within the company's tracking system (e.g., Metrc or BioTrack).\n, • Maintain production schedules and staffing plans to align with supply and demand forecasts.\n, • Manage all aspects of materials procurement—packaging, labels, equipment, and other supplies—to ensure uninterrupted production flow.\n, • Manage relationships with third-party manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of product, adherence to quality standards, and achievement of supply chain demand goals.\n, • Collaborate with all internal departments and minimize production bottlenecks.\n, • Uphold internal QC standards and drive initiatives for process and product quality improvement.\n, • Ensure all finished goods are properly stored, organized, and allocated to maintain product integrity.\n \nWhat We Are Looking For\n\n • Minimum of 3 years' supervising non-exempt production employees. previous experience in management role with hiring / firing authority preferred\n, • Experience in the cannabis industry highly preferred\n, • Excellent computer and mathematics skills, as well as data analysis; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.\n, • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.\n, • Experienced relationship with internal team and external partners.\n, • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements.\n, • Comfortable learning new technologies.\n, • Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to recommend to management well thought out recommendations.\n, • Excellent attention to detail.\n, • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.\n, • Calm under pressure.\n, • Ability to work independently.\n, • Strongly committed to providing high quality products to clients including the packing and presentation of the products.\n, • Experience in coaching, mentoring and directing staff, to include performance management, issuing disciplinary action and addressing employee issues.\n, • Ability to create a culture of accountability amongst direct reports and lead by example.\n, • Able to effectively organize work, track progress and motivate outstanding performance from diverse teams.\n, • Safety and compliance focused.\n, • High school degree or equivalent required.\n, • Must be 21+ years of age.\n\n \n Compensation Description (annually): The salary range for this position in the selected city is $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. \n Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. \n \nPhysical Requirements/Workplace Environment\n Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance. \n Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. \n Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. \n Able to be in varying temperature and humidity environmental conditions \n Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
