Job Description Job Title: Electronic Assembler / Solderer – Printed Circuit Boards M-F 1st Shift - Pay based off of expierence Job Description This role focuses on assembling and soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards within a quiet, climate‑controlled manufacturing environment. You will perform basic electronic assembly, including surface mount and thru‑hole soldering, cable and power supply assembly, and work from schematics and technical documentation to produce high‑quality control systems used in critical industrial applications. Responsibilities • Perform basic electronic assembly tasks on printed circuit boards according to established procedures and quality standards., • Assemble and solder surface mount components onto printed circuit boards using appropriate tools and techniques., • Perform thru‑hole soldering on printed circuit boards on a daily basis with a high level of accuracy and consistency., • Assemble cables and power supplies as part of complete control system builds., • Read and interpret technical information, including schematics, blueprints, and assembly documentation, to complete work correctly., • Differentiate and identify various electrical and electronic components during the assembly process., • Follow detailed instructions and work instructions to ensure assemblies meet design and quality requirements., • Use hand tools and soldering equipment safely and effectively for electronic assembly and rework., • Inspect solder joints and assemblies visually to ensure proper connections and compliance with quality standards., • Maintain a focused, detail‑oriented approach to work in a quiet manufacturing environment where concentration is essential., • Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company., • Proven soldering experience, including both surface mount (SMT) and thru‑hole soldering, with the ability to perform these tasks independently from day one., • Hands‑on electronic assembly experience, particularly with printed circuit boards (PCBs)., • Ability to assemble and solder surface mount technology components on PCBs., • Experience with thru‑hole soldering on a daily basis in a production or assembly environment., • Capability to assemble cables and power supplies as part of electronic systems., • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other technical documentation., • Skill in differentiating and identifying a variety of electrical and electronic components, such as capacitors and other board‑level parts., • High School Diploma or GED., • Strong oral and written communication skills to understand instructions and document work as needed., • Previous experience in a manufacturing or electronics production environment., • Familiarity with surface‑mount technology (SMT) operations and processes., • Experience with electronic assembly, including PCB assembly and soldering rework., • Comfort working from detailed blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings., • Ability to follow standardized work instructions and quality procedures., • Strong sense of responsibility for product quality and reliability, especially for control and safety systems. Work Environment The role is based in a quiet, air‑conditioned manufacturing facility where focus and attention to detail are essential, and conversation is kept to a minimum to support concentration. You will work in a production area dedicated to assembling and soldering printed circuit boards and related electronic components, using appropriate soldering equipment, hand tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company. The standard schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 30‑minute lunch break, offering a consistent daytime shift. The facility serves as a headquarters location, with in‑house design, development, and manufacturing of control systems, creating a technically engaging environment centered on high‑reliability industrial products. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
