About the Role As our Senior Product Manager, you'll lead the strategic development of our digital advertising solutions, implementing product strategies that enhance the user experience, drive revenue growth, and revolutionize the way consumers interact with food content. Responsibilities • Own and drive the product development lifecycle for complex or high-impact initiatives, from ideation through launch and beyond; proactively unblock teams and adjust strategy as needed, • Identify and drive innovation opportunities by synthesizing industry trends, customer needs, and internal insights to evolve our product portfolio and maintain market leadership, • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and external partners to align on product strategy, define and scope initiatives, and deliver integrated, high-value solutions, • Own the product release strategy, including coordinating go-to-market plans, stakeholder alignment, and communications across the company for major launches, • Define and monitor product success through advanced KPI frameworks, using quantitative and qualitative data to guide optimization and long-term iteration strategy, • Serve as the internal and external product evangelist, deeply articulating product vision, business value, and positioning to drive adoption and market differentiation, • Be the subject matter expert on Chicory's media/adtech ecosystem, owning strategic direction and ensuring alignment with evolving industry best practices and tech standards, • Influence product strategy at the leadership level, advising the Director of Product and executive stakeholders on product portfolio direction, trade-offs, and investment decisions, • Lead exploration of emerging technologies, such as AI/ML in advertising, and drive their thoughtful integration into the roadmap to maintain our innovation edge, • Mentor junior PMs and shape team culture, reinforcing Chicory's principles and fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and curious product organization, • Must have an understanding of the various components of the adtech ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and DMPs, • Must have a thorough knowledge of programmatic buying, selling, and real-time bidding, including understanding how automated systems are used for buying and selling ad inventory, • Must be proficient in data analytics to measure ad performance and user engagement like click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per click, cost per acquisition, and return on ad spend, • Must have experience leading all aspects of the product development process from ideation to delivery, • Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation and California Consumer Privacy Act, and how they impact adtech practices, • Understanding of common types of ad fraud (like click fraud, impression fraud) and the tools and techniques used to detect and prevent them, • Understanding of software development processes, technologies, and methodologies, enabling effective collaboration with the development team and informed decision-making regarding product architecture and implementation, • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines and resources, and drive projects to successful completion, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Benefits & Perks Focusing on your health and wellbeing: • Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including dental + vision plans, • Flexible paid time off policy for vacation, sick days, mental health days, and more!, • 14 paid holidays + flexibility to take paid time off for any other holidays you observe, • Employer-paid membership to One Medical, • Annual learning & development stipend, • Flexible remote and hybrid work style arrangements, • Fun and friendly office in NYC stocked with free snacks, • Virtual and in-person outings and fun activities with our amazing team, • Competitive compensation package, including base salary + stock options, • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + Health Spending Account (HSA), • 401k retirement plan, • Commuter benefits At Chicory, we know that we are strongest when every person is valued, respected and treated with dignity.
