Job DescriptionMicroHealth is seeking a Tier II Computer User Support Specialist to support our contract providing to achieve the acceptable levels of enterprise management and technical support, for the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of the Navy’s fleet in the areas of Technical Support, IT Strategies and Client Services, and Cyber Security. Location: Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) CIO C109, Portsmouth, VA 23709 Disclaimer: Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive desktop support and service desk operations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS platform, • Support Microsoft 365 applications and services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, • Utilize remote support tools such as RDP and SCCM to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, • Operate and manage ticketing systems (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira) for proper incident tracking, resolution, and escalation, • Perform user account management within Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policy administration, and access control configuration, • Apply networking knowledge to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies, • Implement cybersecurity best practices and adhere to data handling, access control, endpoint security, and incident reporting procedures, • Maintain compliance with role-based access control (RBAC) and acceptable use policies, • Participate in shift-based or on-call operational schedules as required, • Support remote and hybrid workforce environments with understanding of SLAs and ITIL practicesRequirements:, • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues, • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and services, • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes, • Knowledge of Active Directory and user account management, • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), • Effective customer service and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environmentsQualifications:, • Required Education: Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, • Required Certification: CompTIA Security+ MicroHealth will recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job titles, and ensure that all other personnel actions are administered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran and ensure that all employment decisions are based only on valid job requirements.
